1)Do I have to live in Mequon-Thiensville to use the Logemann Community Center?
No, you do not have to live in Mequon or Thiensville to use the Center.
2.)How late can private rentals use the Center?
The Logemann Community Center accommodates late-night events ending before our morning events occur (5:00 AM). Please contact Logemann for important details
3.)Are kitchen facilities available?
Yes, kitchen facilities are available for a nominal fee.
4.)Can we bring in our own food, and beverages?
Yes, you can bring in your own food and beverages, or you may choose to have them catered by local caterers.
5.)Is alcohol allowed?
Yes, beer and wine products are allowed. Wisconsin law does not allow hard liquor under any circumstance.
6.)Where is the Center located?
The Center is conveniently located on Mequon Road across from Piggly Wiggly and behind the Opitz Cemetery (6100 Mequon Road). It is adjacent to the Interurban bike trail with the Mequon City Park and the Library located to the north of Logemann. For trip information refer to the “map” section.
7.) How do I volunteer?
The Center offers several volunteer opportunities for local and non-local residents of all ages. Opportunities include office help (mailing and receptionist duties); building maintenance (including “fix it” projects, decorating and landscaping); special events (Historic Days, Adult and Family Outings); assistance with fundraising activities (flea market, toy sale, car wash, book sale); and become a board or committee member. Please refer to the “volunteer” section for exciting details.

9.)How large a group can you accommodate?
Up to 150 people can be accommodated. Four areas of the center are available for private room rental that will accommodate small and large groups.
10.) What types of events can be held at Logemann Community Center?
Board meetings, workshops, seminars, classes, public forums, anniversaries, birthday parties, Bar- Mitzvahs and Bat-Mitzvahs, family reunions, wedding receptions, showers, scout ceremonies, retirement parties, office parties, teen parties and concerts. Facility tours are available
11.) What are the staff hours?
Staff hours vary, but part-time volunteers are available to schedule appointments as needed.
12.) What are the rental rates?
Rates vary according to room size and dependent on residency or non-residency.
