Community Events: Historic Day 5K

September 21, 2013

Logemann Center Historic Day 5K

Join us for the third annual 5-K event at the Logemann Community Center in Mequon. Last year’s turn out was great and we’re expecting even bigger numbers this year. All proceeds will benefit the Logemann Community Center and money raised will go directly to support the dozens of community programs resident at the center.

This year, we are offering all of our runners the opportunity to see themselves finish the race! The photography was generously provided by Carr Photo Studios.

Race Results

This year, we had a great race and had some very strong runners participate. This year however, we had two outstanding runners take home first place

The Race

Logemann Center Historic Day 5K the Race

This year, the race began at the Mequon City Hall Plaza. We were excited to launch our race here for the first time! We will then take a scenic route along the bike trail, and then weaved through the Lutheran Seminary before going through some of Mequon's and Thiensville's beautiful subdivisions. The race finished at the Logemann Center right on the bike path.

Historic Day 5K Sponsors

We sincerely thank all that made this event possible, especially those that were sponsors. This event could not have gone as well as planned without the support of organizations and businesses like and Thrivent Financial, Felss Rotaform, LLC, Village BP, and others. We humbly but gratefully accept your time and gifts to our organization, and appreciate them more than you can know. We hope to see you all again next year!

The success of the Step Up for Logemann Run/Walk would be possible without the generous support of our event sponsors. With gifts ranging from $250 all the way up to $1000, the people, businesses, and organizations that give are contributing to the survival and to the growth of the Logemann Center.

Last year's list of sponsors was impressive, and included Mequon and Thiensville's area businesses, service organizations, and institutions. Sponsorship gifts included gifts of $250 up to $1000 or more!
