The New Leaf Used Book Cellar

 

Started by Marion Held almost two years ago, the New Leaf Used Book Cellar has been serving Mequon residents by providing a vast array of books at remarkably low prices. The New Leaf Used Book Cellar is now gladly accepting donations of GENTLY used book, CDs, DVDs, and current magazines! Donation receipt forms are available.

Where is the New Leaf Book Cellar?

It is located in the lower level on the Logemann Community Center. It was formerly located at the Weyenberg Library.

 

Why does the New Leaf Exist?

T-M Library League supports literacy by recycling the written & spoken word/All proceeds benefit literacy- based organizations.

 

What kinds of donations do the New Leaf accept?

Adult & Children’s hard & soft cover books, DVD’s, CDs, cassette tapes, audio books, large print books, magazines, video tapes, puzzles

 

What are the hours for New Leaf?

M-F 8:00am - 8:00pm

Saturday 9:00am-12:00pm

Sunday: 1:00-4:00pm

 

How do I shop at the New Leaf?

Shop honor system by placing payment in designated envelopes & place in locked box on wall


How do I donate at the New Leaf?

Place donations in designated area just  inside entry  NO encyclopedias, text books, National Geographics, or musty items PLEASE.


How do I support the New Leaf?

Join the Library League ($10 per year), join their book club, volunteer in the Book Cellar  or at their Book Sales, and spread the word!!!


Other information:

The “cream of the crop” donations are used to stock the Book Cellar.  The rest are stored  and sold at one of their massive sales held in the main hall where nothing is more than $1.
